How to deal with scratches on stainless steel mirror surface?
If the repair is carried out on a bright surface, the polishing method can be adopted and polished repeatedly with polishing wheels with different mesh numbers. Generally, sandblasting method is used to repair the matte surface, which requires special equipment. If the panel has been drawn in the early stage, it also needs special equipment to deal with it. No matter which method is adopted above, the surface must be passivated at last. It is judged as a slight scratch. If it is a mirror, the stainless steel surface can be polished with polishing wax, and if it is wiredrawn, the stainless steel surface can be wiredrawn with a wire drawing machine.
Then there is a linear scratch, which is what we call a scratch. The treatment of scratches is relatively difficult, and shallow scratches can be solved by the above methods (slowing down the speed of the feed roller and lowering the grinding head). It is recommended that you reduce or avoid the possibility of scratching the mirror panel by sticking a protective film on the surface of the plate, packing the plate with a wooden frame, packing the plate with cardboard or plastic board, packing the whole plate with waterproof paper, and clearly stating the words “protect the plate surface and don’t scratch it” on the surface of the plate or packaging. If the finished mirror stainless steel plate has scratches, it can be basically fixed according to the method mentioned above. If it is a semi-finished equipment, and the surface is a mirror with scratches, you need to use a variety of polishing equipment; For example, a hand-held polishing machine with various polishing wheels can be used together to achieve better repair effect.
